League Description:

Long Beach Friday Night League

To reserve a spot, please pay your registration fee online or mail in $100 check/money order to EEVB at PO Box 49, Hampton Bays, NY 11946. Include captain's name, division, league site, and league night. If you are mailing a check, please send us an email so we can hold the spot.
Please note that online registrations without payments will not be considered complete. Either pay using the credit card option or send an email saying you have mailed a check.

AVP Membership Requirements:

  • Bronze AVP membership ($15) is required for all players. Membership is valid for 365 days from date of purchase. If you only play in leagues get the $15 Bronze membership.
  • If you play any weekend tournaments (doubles or 4-player), you will need the $25 Silver Membership.
  • Players under 18 years old need to be registered via their parent/guardian. The parent needs to set up a FREE Basic Membership and then link the child to their membership. For further instructions, please see here
  • Memberships can be upgraded at any time. Note that upgrades do not add time to the membership expiration.
  • Please select East End Volleyball as your Organization when creating or renewing your membership.

    • Start Date: June 2, 2023

    • EEVB League Championship: Saturday, Sept 2

    Times: 6 pm - sunset

    Divisions:

    • Coed 6s: We will just have one Coed 6s division this year.  
    • 4s: Most competitive division, all rules are strictly enforced.
    • After Week 1, teams will be seeded based on their winning percentage.

    Male:Female Ratio: 

    •  Coed 6s: Minimum 2 females on each team must be on court at all times during play. If only 1 female is available to start play, only 4 males can fill out the team. At no time can a team have 5 males on the court. Any team that starts play with 1 female and 4 males will begin the game minus 3 pts every game, even if the missing female arrives during the game (she can still join in right away).  One female and 1, 2, or 3 males will not be penalized (score starts at 0:0). No female player results in a forfeit.
    • 4s: Any combination of males and females is acceptable from all males to all females. 
    Fees: Includes Volleyball (1/team) + League T-Shirt (1/player)

    • Early Bird Fee: $775 if paid in full by April 1
    • Regular Fee: $825 if paid in full by May 15
    • Late Fee: $875 if paid in full after May 15
    • Please note all payments made online (except deposits) are subject to a $25 credit card service fee. Avoid the fee by mailing a check or paying in person!
    • Fees based on ROSTER SIZE of 6 players for 4s, and 10 players for 6s; ADD $20/additional player + AVP membership for rosters above these #s

    Directions:
    From Long Island: Southern State Pkwy to Meadowbrook Pkwy south to Loop Pkwy. Right at end onto Lido Blvd (changes to Park Ave) Left at Laurelton Blvd to ocean, free parking. From Verrazano Bridge: Take Belt Parkway (Shore Pkwy) east towards Eastern LI and JFK airport. Near airport get off at Nassau Expressway (Rte 878) exit. Take Nassau Expressway, which becomes Rockaway Blvd (Follow signs for Long Beach or Atlantic Beach Bridge) to Rte 878. Go over Atlantic Beach Bridge and make left onto Park St/Beech St. Go through commercial section and make right on New York Ave. Make left on Broadway. Go 1.5 miles to Laurelton Blvd. Make right to event site at boardwalk. By Train: LIRR to Long Beach. Leaving the station go across Park Ave. right, make left on Laurelton Blvd. and walk south towards Ocean. Enter beach at Laurelton Blvd. from the boardwalk.
