We regret to inform you the volleyball tournament scheduled for this weekend, September 19th and 20th, in Jacksonville Beach is being cancelled. We apologize for any convenience this may cause. However, tidal surges have made all the lower courts unplayable. In addition, the high tides scheduled for 10am Saturday and 11am Sunday are projected to be the highest of the week and are expected to rise onto most of the upper courts. This could delay play by about two hours and would flood the only area available for players and fans to setup. In addition, storms are forecast togenerate high winds and rain.
We will refund everyone’s money by this weekend. If you have not received a 100% refund by Monday morning, please email us and we’ll get it taken care of immediately. We hope to see you in the sand soon.
