REGISTRATION &ENTRY FEE Each player must be a CBVA/AVP member to play in the tournament.CBVA/AVP membership is $35 for the 2020 season. The Tournament entry fee is $65per team for regular events and $80 per team for Open's. Online registration closes at 5PM the day before the event. You will receive a confirmation email after properly registering.
FORMAT - POOL PLAY
Pools are seeded according to current CBVA rankings and points of teams entered in the division. The number of teams in each pool is determined by the number of overall team entries.
4team pools play 1 game to 28, win by 2, no cap, switch sides every 7 points
5team pools play 1 game to 21, win by 2, no cap, switch sides every 7 points.
All matches will be played with an Official Wilson Beach Game Ball.
PLAY-OFF PROCEDURES
The top 2 teams from each pool advance to the playoffs. TD may determine to take more than 2 teams out of pool. Advancing teams are determined by:

Head - To - Head
Point Differential only among the teams that are tied....( + / - )
After initial tie is broken, go back to head-to-head if remaining teams are still tied.
Point differential among all teams in the pool.
Coin Toss
Teams will advance to:
Bracketed Single elimination play-off.

*Bracket is based on original seeding from pools.
PRIZES
Prizes awarded to the 1st and 2nd place winners. AVP points are earned by all participants.

FROM EAST or SOUTH - Take (I-10) SANTA MONICA FWY WEST to the4TH/5TH ST EXIT; Take the 4TH ST lane and turn LEFT onto 4TH ST; Head SOUTH on4TH ST to PICO BLVD; Turn RIGHT onto PICO BLVD heading WEST to OCEAN AVE; TurnLEFT onto OCEAN AVE (at Cha Cha Chicken). Bypass the 1st parking entrance(BICKNELL AVE). Go another 3 blocks and enter the 2030 Ocean Ave. beach parkingLOT 4 SOUTH by RIGHT turn at HOLLISTER AVE. At the stop sign turn left to LOT4C for long term parking. Pick a space, note the space number, pay at the kiosk with your credit card.
FROM NORTH -Taking PACIFIC COAST HWY SOUTH, take the last turn-off just before going through McClure tunnel; Take the exit ramp up to OCEAN AVE; Take a RIGHT on OCEAN AVE; Go SOUTH past PICO and follow ontoOCEAN AVE (at Cha Cha Chicken) Enter the 2030 Ocean Ave. beach parking
