Format

Open Divisions will be double elimination.  Amateur Divisions will be pool play followed by single elimination.  The winner of each division on Saturday will receive a bid to the AVP America Adult Nationals in Huntington Beach, CA (Oct 5, 2019).

AVP America Adult Nationals Qualifier

Divisions:  Men's Open & A; Women's Open & A

Check-in:  8:00 AM

Play Starts:  8:30 AM

Fee:  Open $40 per player / Amateur $30 per player

SUNDAY

*Coed is NOT a qualifier event*

Divisions:  Coed Open & A

Check-in:  8:00 AM

Play Starts:  8:30 AM

Fee:  Open $40 per player / Amateur $30 per player

Open/Pro - Pairs that are top level play or have consistently made the finals of the Amateur division.

A/Amateur - Pairs that are not competitive in a Pro/Open tournament or have consistently made the finals of the Novice division.

B/Novice - Pairs just learning to play doubles and/or players that typically do not qualify for the Amateur main draw tournament.

The tournament director reserves the right to move a team to a different level depending on skill and tournament registration.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted at Grand Sands.
