Hyden Beach will be hosting a double qualifier on Saturday, April 27th! p1440 and AVPA qualifier with bids to upcoming National events!

Girls 18U- check in will begin on Saturday, April 27th at 7:45am. Balls in the air promptly at 8:30am.  
Girls 14U- check in will begin on Saturday, April 27th at 7:45am. Balls in the air promptly at 8:30am.  
Girls 16U- check in will begin on Saturday, April 27th at 1:15pm. Balls in the air promptly at 2:00pm.
Girls 12U- check in will begin on Saturday, April 27th at 1:15pm. Balls in the air promptly at 2:00pm.

All memberships (p1440, and AVPA) are required for this event.

We will not allow walk-up registrations. Sign-ups are open until Friday afternoon, April 26th at 12:00pm for Saturday. You must pay in advance to secure your spot.

AVPA: AVPAmerica membership required. We must have 4+ teams in each division to run division, 5+ teams to receive bids. Bids to AVPA Nationals will be provided to first and second place in each division. No trickle down bids available. Per AVPA: A reminder that a bid does not guarantee a spot in a limited-space event. The Initial Entry List will be released 4 weeks out from the event, on July 1. This list will only include teams with bids. After July 1, if there are any open spots, they will be given to teams with the highest AVP rankings that are on the waitlist. If there is still space after that, teams will be admitted on a first-come-first-serve basis.

p1440: p1440 bid qualifier events award bids to the top 4 teams if a minimum of 5 teams are registered per age group.  If less than 5 teams are registered per age group then only 2 bids will be awarded.  p1440 points are awarded at all bid and non-bid events if there are at least 4 teams in the age division. Bids to the Nationals in June.

**Format: Pool play and then bracket play (gold/silver divisions if needed).  
^If not enough teams in each division (5), teams will be asked to combine or fully refunded.

Hyden Beach wants to provide the upmost service to our players and guests. To do this, we ask that you please arrive on time for registration so the first games can promptly begin on time. Anyone who is late to start the first match, will receive point deductions.  

Tournaments will follow USAV Beach Volleyball Rules.

Tournaments Cancellation Policy: Team cancellations that occur from the time registration is first paid online through the Sunday prior to the event (ending at 11:59pm on Sunday) will be refunded 100% of the registration fee. Team cancellations received via email on or after the Monday (beginning at 12:00AM) prior to the event through two days before the event will receive a full refund minus the processing fees ($3.50) (e.g. cancel before midnight on Thursday before the said tournament that is held on a Saturday). Teams that cancel the day before or the day of the tournament (Friday beginning at 12:00AM or Saturday of said tournament on Saturday) will forfeit their entire registration payment. Exception to policy is when there are not enough teams in the registered division to field a complete pool. If this occurs, teams in the division that do not make a complete pool will be offered a refund. Any questions on this policy or its application should be addressed to info@hydenbeach.com.

Inclement weather policy:

  • If cancellation occurs before the first game begins, a full refund for all teams present will be provided.
  • If cancellation occurs at any point during pool play, no refund will be offered.
  • If cancellation occurs during playoffs in divisions where there are cash payouts, those total cash payouts will be split evenly between the active teams at that time point in the tournament.
Tournament cancellations can occur when there is significant inclement weather (lightning) that will last greater than two hours and/or heavy rainfall lasting longer than two hours. This call is at the discretion of the tournament director. 
The Tournament Director has the discretion to temporarily suspend all play as well as clear the courts for any reason they deem appropriate.
