Welcome to Optimum Beach 2023 WINTER SHOWCASE Clinic & Tournament, Committed Players QOB and Stay & Play QOB!!!!

We're thrilled to announce dates for our biggest event of the year! For the 4th year in a row, we are holding our Winter Showcase Clinic, Tournament PLUS Stay & Play QOB! Each year we get bigger and better! More coaches, more players, better players, more commits! We've been home to college coaches in pursuit of new recruits and an event not to be missed by prospects!

SHOWCASE CLINIC - DEC 9th

Check in: 8am

Clinic starts: 8:30am-11:30am

You DO NOT need a partner for this event. This is an event where all coaches will get to watch your coach ability! They might not ALL stay for the tournament.

**Please make sure that you have your AVP memberships to register.

SHOWCASE TOURNAMENT - coaches don't have to stay for the tourney - Dec. 9th & 10th

PLAYING FORMAT:

18U & 16U - Pool Play: MATCH PLAY followed by SINGLE ELIMINATION bracket play, Gold and Bronze Medal Matches will be Live Streamed on Sporfie. (you MUST play for 3rd to get your points and prizes. Only tournament directors can decided if a match can be "split")

14U - Pool Play: Set to 21 followed by SINGLE ELIMINATION bracket play. Gold Medal Match will be Live Streamed on Sporfie

December 10th:

Tournament play resumes at 8 AM

Rules:

-One time out per team per set.

All reffing teams are responsible for keeping live score on Volleyball Life.

-Standard AVP rules.

NOTE: We have the right to combine age groups in case of low numbers.

16s with 18s or 14s with 16s

Coaching:

-Coaches must check in with proper credentials before the tournament starts. AVP Coaching Card.

-Coaches are allowed to talk when the ball isn't being played, on switches and timeouts.

-Teams MUST have their water and towels by the net polls.

Parents are not allowed to come talk to players during a match.

If a parent is a coach, they must check in at the Optimum tent and abide by the AVP coaching rules at all times.

Refund Policy:

If you are sick, have come in contact with someone has been sick, or tested positive for Covid-19, please contact us at director@optimumbeach.us for a full refund. No refund request will be honored the day before we set pools.
