Sandbox 2023-24 Winter Beach Series Event #2

Event to be held at Hickory Point in Tavares Fl

All registration must be done online and all participants must be members of VolleyAmerica to participate.  Payments are to be made onsite, morning of tournament.  Payments can be made by cash, check, or Venmo.  No Credit cards will be accepted.  This is to keep costs to a minimum, no hidden fees.  

Saturday:  All mens and Womens divisions.

Sunday:  All Coed and Juniors Divisions.

Cost:    Mens and Womens open: $120 per team

            Mens and Womens AA, A, BB, B.  $70 per team

            Coed: $70 per team.  A $5 discount for individuals that played the day before.

            Juniors: $60 per team.

Time:    Mens and Womens Open registration begins at 8:00 and first ball in the air at 8:30

            Mens and Womens AA, A, BB, B, registration starts at 8:30 and first ball in the air at 9:00.

            Coed and Juniors, registration starts at 9:00 and first ball in air at 9:30.

Prizes:  Mens and Womens open:  1st $1000, 2nd $750, 3rd $375

            Mens, Womens, Coed AA:  1st $400, 2nd $100 with prizes, 3rd prizes

            All other divisions, prizes 1st through 3rd.

Please note that Sandbox Volleyball does not give out prizes for last place teams.  If you are in a division of 4 teams then there will be a playoff for 3rd place and the 4th place team will not receive prizes.  If you are in a 3 team division, then only the 1st and 2nd place team will receive prizes.  Sandbox Volleyball Guarantees the cash payout and prizes.  As a long time player, I understand the importance of consistency and the frustration when prizes and payouts change based on turnout.
