Florida Dinosaur Beach Volleyball Doubles
Chill by the Beach Events is hosting a Dinosaur Beach Volleyball event on October 8, in Siesta Key Beach, FL. Come Join the Fun!
We are running this tournament in coordination with SSOVA at the SSOVA Tournament site. Please register through Chill by the Beach.

Divisions:
Men's Doubles 80s - combined team age must add to 80 to participate. (Men's Dino 80s on the AVP America registration)
Men’s Doubles 100’s - combined team age must add to 100 to participate. (Century on the AVP America registration)
Womens Doubles - combined team age must add to 70 to participate. (It's called Women's Dino 80s on the AVP America registration, but we only require a age total of 70)

Format and Rules:
Pool play/Playoffs or double elimination based on the number of teams.
Old School Beach Volleyball Rules
Side Out Scoring - games to 15
Dino points - Older team gets 1 point for every 4 years older they are in age up to 5 points max.
No Let Serve
Current Regular Size Court
Block does count as a hit
Format subject to change based as tournament directors discretion.
Check in begins at 7:30am. All team members must sign a waiver prior to playing. Play begins promptly at 8:00am
No walk up registrations. Teams must register online prior to the event.
Cash Prizes for the 1st and 2nd place teams of the 70s/80s divisions with at least 10 teams $500 (1st place); $200 (2nd place)

Event Cancellation Policy: Teams that cancel one week prior to the event will be refunded 100% of the registration fee. Otherwise, there is no refund.
Weather Cancellation Policy: If cancellation occurs before the first game begins, a full refund for all teams present will be provided. If cancellation occurs at any point during the tournament, no refund will be offered. Tournament cancellations can occur when there is significant inclement weather (lightning) that will last greater than two hours and/or heavy rainfall lasting longer than two hours. This call is at the discretion of the tournament director.
The Tournament Director has the discretion to temporarily suspend all play as well as clear the courts for any reason they deem appropriate.
