FREE T-SHIRTS FOR THE FIRST 100 PLAYWERS CHECKING IN AT THE BEACH

THIS IS AVP AMERICA SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT - You must have a AVPA membership to Register for this event.

• See AVP MEMBERSHIP to purchase your AVP AMERICA MEMBERSHIP. (Good for 12 months from the date of purchase. Be sure to check which membership level is best for you.
• You must have a current AVPA membership to earn AVPA ranking Points

EVENT INFO: 

• Location: East Beach/Apffel Park - 1923 Boddeker Rd., Galveston, TX
• Check in: 7:00AM 
• Players Meeting: 8:45am
• Games Start: 8:00am
• Check in at the beach is before anytime after 7:00, you should be able to self check in any time after 7. We are normally there after 5AM but may be not able to check you in until 7:00
• COST: $70

EAST BEACH

• We have 30 permanent Volleyball courts (The most permenant courts on the Gulf of Mexico at one facility) if needed we also have 25 portable courts so there are no waves. Everyone starts at the same time.

• We are playing on a real beach on the Gulf of Mexico. So anything can happen weather wise/wind wise. It is best to call the GCVA Hotline at 832.928.4120 before heading to the beach. We update the recorder before we leave and then when we get to the beach.
• 
  
• East Beach is a paid parking beach. However, there is plenty of FREE parking before you enter the park only a short distance from the park
• 
  
• East Beach does have Showers, Concessions, Life Guards, Beach Patrol etc.
• 
  
• Coolers are allowed and encouraged.
• 
  
• Tents are allowed and encouraged. please set up all tents inside the volleyball area behind the banners. Please be sure to secure your tent. At the beach gusts can come at anytime.
• 
  
• Pets must be on a leash.
• 
  
• Please follow all the park rules listed at the Gate and pick up all your trash before you leave the park.

FORMAT

• Pool Play + Single Elimination Playoffs.  
• 
  
• In playoffs, teams are REQUIRED to ref the next game/match after they lost. So be sure stay and ref if there is a next match on your court

CANCELLATIONS / NO-SHOWS / REFUNDS

• Registrations cancelled by 6PM the night before the event are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations after Thursday at 6pm are not refunded. 
• 
  
• If you cannot make the tournament please let us know, refund or not, ASAP. If you must withdraw on the day of the tournament please call/and or text us at 832.928.4120
• 
  
• If a registered team no-shows, both players will not be permitted to participate in the next GCVA Tournament 
• 
  
• If a team or player no-shows more than once in a calendar year, the player(s) will not be permitted to participate for the rest of the season.
