*This tournament is in conjunction with an opportunity to add on multiple individual college clinics for a multi-day showcase featuring the following collegiate beach coaches:

Wednesday 3-5pm: RJ Abella who is the head assistant coach at South Carolina a perennial top 16 DI beach program.
Thursday 10am-12 finalized soon!
Thursday 3-5pm : Either Coach Brock or Coach Leak from LSU
Friday 5:30-7:30 Nick Lucena, a former beach Olympian, who is the head assistant coach at Florida State University a perennial top 3 DI beach program.

College coaches will be present to watch the tournaments on Friday and/or Saturday!

AVP America National Tournament Bid Info
  • The top two teams qualify for AVP Nationals July 5th-7th for 16U/18U and July 7-9th for 12U/14U in Hermosa Beach, CA.
  • No trickle down for AVP America bids.
  • For AVP age requirements have changed to graduation year

?Junior Age Requirements: 
  • 18U: Athletes graduating high school in 2023 or later.
  • 16U: Athletes graduating high school in 2025 or later.
  • 14U: Athletes graduating high school in 2027 or later.
  • 12U: Athletes graduating high school in 2029 or later.

Bid winners will receive an email shortly after each bid tournament.

Rules
  • AVP/USAV rules apply
  • One time out per team.
  • Technical always at 21, even in games to 28. No tech in games to 15.
  • Ref team will keep live score on Volleyball Life platform so please have access/log in to a device to be able to do so.

Coaching
  • Coaches must be registered with AVP and have a current AVP season pass to coach.
  • Email proper credentials before the tournament starts to be able to coach.
  • Coaches may coach during timeouts and walk and talk on side changes.

18U Saturday, June 23rd
7:30 AM Check-in, 8:00 AM Start Time Pool play and bracket format will be determined by number of teams.

14U Saturday, June 23rd
1:30 PM Check-in, 2:00 PM Start Time Pool play and bracket format will be determined by number of teams.

Team Registration Fee
Open registration ($90) until midnight 4 days prior to event, with Late registration ($100) running until 24 hours before event.

Facility
Our home courts have an inground pool, 4 hammocks, covered seating and plenty of shade with seating for almost 100 people. We also have indoor and outdoor showers and a restroom in the pool house. We also have a bunkhouse cabin available on property to rent out for out of town teams that can sleep up to 8 guests. Please email Scherf.P413@gmail.com to reserve or to get more info.

Weather Issues
Outdoor tournaments will only be cancelled in the unlikely event of heavy thunderstorms resulting in lightening and day-long unplayable conditions. Scherf will email during the week with weather info if things look questionable. The event may be altered to run more quickly if bad weather is imminent.

Harrisonville is just south of Kansas City, MO. Courts are located 3 miles north on 291 hwy from the 49/291 highway intersection. Left on 231st street and there is a horseshoe drive 3/4 of a mile on the left.
