AVP America Junior Qualifier Season Warm Up Tournament.

Season Warm Up Tournament allows players to get in groove of playing in a organized sanctioned tournament. This adds a little excitement with out all the expectations of playing like a pro. This is just a way to get live game play, officiating, coaching and for parents to learn how to be a parent and not a coach; While still giving the players an opportunity to earn a bid early in the season.

Pool play with Single Elimination Tournament:

This format in which teams are divided into pools and play a round-robin Single Set within their pool against the other teams in their pool, and the results of these matches determine the teams' rankings within the pool. These rankings are then used for a to seed the teams into a Single Elimination tournament. All Teams Make The Playoffs!

Pool Play Format Description:

Nationals - December 1, 2022 - June 25, 2023 (This event has limited space and will be based on a first come, first serve basis. Bids do not guarantee a spot in the tournament)
West Coast Championships - July 1, 2023 - November 5, 2023 (This event has limited space and will be based on a first come, first serve basis. Bids do not guarantee a spot in the tournament)
East Coast Championships - July 1, 2023 - November 19, 2023

How to Earn a Bid:

This is an AVP America Junior National Qualifier events.
This is a 1-Star events award bids to 1st & 2nd place teams as long as there are at least 5 teams in the division.
No trickle-down bids
Bid winners can play with any partner of their choice. They do not need to play with the partner they won their bid with.
Only one partner per team is required to have earned a bid.
Bids are not age specific. If you age out of your current age division, your bid is still valid if you're moving up to an older age division.
Players will be required to compete in their respective divisions at the time of the event (see Junior Age Requirements, which will update on 9/1/2023).

Coaches:

Make sure you have completed all the requirements in order to coach at this event:

Background Screening must be completed and cleared one week prior to event start date.
Active SILVER AVP Membership
AVP America Coaching Pass to be completed one week prior to event start date. Pass is valid for one calendar year (1/1 - 12/31)
Coaches MUST check-in with AVP Staff at event to receive coaching credentials for the event
Make sure you know the Coaching Rules that were included in the AVP America Coaching Pass.
