Sandbox Volleyball Fall Event #1 2022

This tournament is to be held at Lori Wilson Park and International Palms Resort in Cocoa Beach.  I am excited again to be able to have the Resort Host us and they have been a big supporter for the beach tournaments over the years.  

All registration must be done online and must have an AVPAmerica membership for both participants.  Payment is to be made onsite morning of the tournament.  Payment can be made with cash, Venmo, or check.  NO CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS ARE TO BE ACCEPTED.  This is to keep your costs to a minimum, no hidden fees.

Saturday: All mens and Womens Divisions

Sunday:   All Coed and Juniors Divisions.

Cost:        Men and Womens Open: $100 per team.

                All other Mens and Womens Divisions: $70 per team.

                Coed Divisions: $70 per team with a $5 discount for each player that also played on

                    Saturday.

                Juniors Divisions: $50 per team.

Times:     Mens and Womens Open need to register by 8:00 on Saturday so we can start play at 8:30.  

                   This is a one day tournament and want to make sure we finish.  This means showing up

                   around 7:45        

                All other adult divisions on Saturday, registration starts at 8:30.

                Sunday Coed and Junior Divisions registration starts at 9:00.

Prizes:     Mens and Womens Open:  1st $1000, 2nd $500, 3rd $250 (x2)

                Mens and Womens AA:  1st $400, 2nd $100 plus prizes, 3rd prizes (x2)

                Coed AA:    1st $400, 2nd $100 plus prizes, 3rd prizes (x2)

                All other divisions:  Prizes 1st-3rd

Please note that Sandbox does not pay out or give prizes for the last place team.  Therefore if you are in a 4 team division then there would be a playoff game for 3rd and 4th place and the 4th place team does not win prizes.  A three team division the same in that only the first and second placed team will be rewarded prizes.  Other than that Sandbox guarantees the above prizes.  As a long time player I understand the importance of consistency and the frustration when the payout changes based on participants.  

Any clubs that are either juniors or adults contact me if you are bringing more than 4 teams to the tournament.  I will give discounts for your teams but must be arranged 2 days prior to the tournament date.  If you are a college club then I will check your college ID.
