NW Beach Volleyball Club is a 6-court Beach Volleyball Facility with restrooms, food truck/restaurant, and a bar. Food service is available during events. There is parking on-site.

Welcome to the 2022 Under Armour Beach Series!

AVP America Points and prizes are awarded to top finishers. At the end of the series, the top 8 Seeded teams in each age group will be placed in the Open Division. All other teams will play in the Club Division at our Final tournament.

All participants in our Beach Series will receive a commemorative series tee shirt or tank top the first time they play in a Series Event

*Our food truck and indoor concession/bar area is a spectator-friendly bar and restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner food choices will be available.

Points:

Divisions with at least 4 teams accrue AVP points to count towards all major AVPFirst events.

Championship Event: ENTER YOUR AGE DIVISION

The top 8 ranked teams using AVP America points will earn play in the the OPEN Division of our Championship Event. At least one player on the team must have played in one of our Beach Series Events (#1-3). All other teams will play in the CLUB Division.

Age Divisions

We are continuing with September 1st based age guidelines. I.e. if you turn 15 on or before August 30th, 2022 you need to play 16u.

*Note that in the Series events, our "U18-20" Division will allow larger draw and also provide a division for current college freshmen and sophomores. Junior Points are awarded to U18's teams.

Format

Pool play
3 and 4 team Pools - Typically, Games to 28
5+ Team Pools - Typically, Games to 21
Play Offs
Top teams will advanced to single-elimination Gold Division playoffs. Prizes awarded to top finishers. Playoff matches are 2/3 to 21/21/15
Time and space permitting, there will be a Silver Division for teams that do not get into the Gold. Playoff matches will be either 2/3 to 21/21/15 or 1 set to 28

Prizes

Under Armour and Sand Socks are our series sponsors. Most prizes will be either UA or Sand Socks. Silver Division Champions also receive a prize.

Weather Issues

Event will only be cancelled in the unlikely event of heavy rain, wind, and day-long unplayable conditions. We will post information to our Beach Series webpage with weather info if needed, and the event may be altered to run more quickly if afternoon rain is imminent. If there is a window of playable weather on event day, we'll run during that window by altering start time.

Our NW Beach Series tournaments have a great reputation of being fun and competitive. We always have clean music playing and a friendly tournament staff to assist.
