Welcome to the First Annual

2022 Montucky Draft!

Open level players all the way down to B level players are encouraged to participate!

Please sign up as an individual without a partner.

There will be one division for all skill levels as well as gender. This is a community oriented tournament like you've never seen before .

Captains will be selected by the tournament director. A draft will be held Friday night before the tournament with only the captains present. Each captain will select 5 teammates in a schoolyard style pick. Captains will call all of their teammates after the draft to let them know their team for the next day.  If you might be offended by being picked last on your team, this tournament is NOT for you.

The tournament format will be pool play, followed up by single elimination playoffs. All teams will make playoffs. Playoffs will be seeded according to pool results.

Each participant will sign up as an individual. We are limiting this year to 72 participants. If you sign up after it is full, you will be wait listed. If participants drop we will add based on first come first serve.

$50 per person which includes Custom t-shirts designed and donated by On the Square Comics and Studio, food, drink, beach badges, a donation to 1690 charity, and prizes provided by Montucky Cold Snacks.

Payment is to be sent to Chris Vaughan's venmo. @Tonybronzer

1st place $1200

2nd place $600

$10 of each participant's entry fee will be donated to the 1690 Initiative. The 1690 Initiative is a non-profit organization started BY volleyball players FOR volleyball players. Honoring the life of Eric Zaun, the mission of the 1690 Initiative has always been to improve the quality of people's lives in our athletic community by providing education, awareness and advocacy in the area of mental health. 1690 is still in the very early stages of it's mission, and every donation goes right back towards the community. All additional donations can be sent via venmo to @initiative1690. Thanks in advance!
