Tournament Structure: Play will begin at 9:00 AM and check-in will open at 8:15 AM. Divisions will consist of pool play and an elimination bracket play. All pools will be sent to AVP registration emails by 9:00 PM the night before competition (pools are subject to change).
Spectator Entry Fee: $5 cash or $6 credit. Children five and under will be free. Tickets will be sold on-site only.
Parking: We are excited to offer FREE parking with optional shuttle from parking lot directly to courts.
Pet Policy: No pets, with exception to registered service animals, will be allowed within the gated court area at Sports Edge Beach.
Concession: Concession options will be available on-site. No outside alcohol is permitted in the facility. Select alcoholic beverages will be for sale at concession. Please bring plenty of water (water will be available for sale at the concession area).
Junior Qualifier: This is a qualifying juniors event and all juniors divisions with 5 or more teams are eligible for a bid. 1st and 2nd place from each qualifying division will receive a dual bid to Junior Nationals and Beach Week.
Coaches: All coaches for teams must be approved by the tournament director prior to the day of tournament and only approved coaches will be allowed in the sand. If you wish to coach a team, please reach out to Mikayla Parker at beachvbadmin@thesportsedge.com with the coach's name(s), coach's AVP membership number(s), and the names of the team(s) that will be coached. Approved coaches will be given a coaching wristband at check-in.
18-AND-UNDER DIVISION: Players who were born on or after September 1, 2003- OR - Players who were born on or after September 1, 2001 AND a high school student in the 12th grade or below during some part of the current academic year16-AND-UNDER DIVISION: Players who were born on or after September 1, 200514-AND-UNDER DIVISION: Players who were born on or after September 1, 2007
All Players MUST have an active AVP Membership
AVP America Membership is required for all players. Memberships must be completed online prior to the day of the event. All memberships run for 365 days from the time of purchase. Members can log in using their ID number to see if membership is active or inactive. All membership fees are used to support the $70,000 + Grand Prix, Junior Grand Prix, National Ranking System, Regional Championships, National Championships, and event liability insurance.
