Eligibility:

EACH participant is welcome to register for this event if they are complying with the State of CA/LA County travel regulations.  These restrictions change often, so please refer to this link for updated info.  All athletes must have an AVP GOLD Tier Membership to participate.  Due to the lack of opportunities/beach volleyball competitions to earn bids in the State of California, we want to ensure that every player has an equal chance to compete in California Championships.  With that being said,  bids will not be required to participate and competition will be open to all athletes. If you have earned a bid (Nationals/Beach Week), you will have a guaranteed spot in the tournament if you register by 6/15/21.  After 6/15/21, we cannot guarantee your spot. Registration Deadline is 6/24/21!

Division Caps:

Girls 14s, 16s, 18s = 125 teams/per division

Girls 12s = 60 teams/per division

Boys = 24 teams/ per division

Price:

Girls 14u, 16u, 18u = $300

All Boys and Girls 12u = $200

Dress Code:

• Uniforms are not required. However, matching color bottoms and tops are encouraged.
• All athletes are REQUIRED to wear a top that covers your midsection when standing, and full coverage bottoms.

Junior Age Requirements:

Players will be required to compete in their respective divisions at the time of the event (see Junior Age Requirements, which update on 9/1 every year)

Coaches:

Make sure you have completed all the requirements in order to coach at this event:

• Background Screening must be completed and cleared by July 5, 2021.
• Active AVP Membership
• AVP America Coaching Pass to be completed by July 5, 2021.

Coach Check-in:

• Coaches MUST check-in with AVP Staff to receive coaching credentials for the event
• Coaches will report to the AVP Staff tent (center court area) to check-in (temp check and pickup credentials) each day
