Welcome to the kickoff adult tournament at the beautiful 10-court facility just outside of St. Augustine and Jacksonville, FL, Sports Edge Beach! Can I register now and pay later? Yes! While payments are accepted through the AVPA website, teams can still register and pay later. Payment must be accepted by 8:00 PM on Thursday June 10th. Teams risk losing their registration spot if they do not immediately pay when registering. Teams must be registered and paid by 8:00 PM Thursday, June 10th or risk losing their spot to waitlisted teams.

What is the format? Open level play will be double elimination. All other divisions will consist of pool play followed by a single elimination bracket. 

OPEN PLAY

(Men's and Women's) will occur on Saturday, June 12th at $120 (plus fees) entry fee per team. Check-in will open at 8:00 AM and play will begin at 9:00 AM. 

            If 16 teams register award breakdown will be as follows:

         First Place (1): $1,000

        Second Place (1): $350

          Third Place (2): $120

            If less than 16 teams register payout will be divided with similar weighted structure as above. 

AA/A/B PLAY

(Men's and Women's) will occur on Sunday, June 13th at $70 (plus fees) entry fee per team. Check-in will open at 8:00 AM and play will begin at 9:00 AM. 

            Gear and prizes will be awarded!

Note: In the interest of competitive fun, an Open level player finished in the “money round” in a Sports Edge Open event in the past year they cannot play AA or lower. 

Burlock And Barrel American Whiskey will be on site with a variety of spirits. 

We are looking forward to having singer/songwriter Peyton Lescher playing both days from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM!  

Parking: We are excited to offer FREE parking. 

Spectator Entry Fee: $5 cash or $6 credit. Children five and under will be free. 

Concession: Concession options will be available on-site. Please bring plenty of water (water will be available for sale at the concession area). 

INCLEMENT/FOUL WEATHER POLICY:

• If cancellation occurs before the first game begins, a full refund for all teams present will be provided.
• If cancellation occurs at any point during pool play, no refund will be offered.
• If cancellation occurs during playoffs in divisions where there are cash payouts, those total cash payouts will be split evenly between the active teams at that time point in the tournament.
• Any cancelation or postponement will be at the discretion of the tournament director. The plan will always be to play through light to moderate rain and return play if it is ever suspended for weather purposes. We will update play via our social media channels and the "Sports Edge Beach" Facebook group.

All Players MUST have an active AVP Membership

AVP America Membership is required for all players. Memberships must be completed online prior to the day of the event. All memberships run for 365 days from the time of purchase. Members can log in using their ID number to see if membership is active or inactive. All membership fees are used to support the $70,000 + Grand Prix, Junior Grand Prix, National Ranking System, Regional Championships, National Championships, and event liability insurance.
